Every composite says how many lenses it is made of. The blend carries 4 lenses and only the ones with a producer today contribute, so each row prints its own count — “1 of 4 lenses” — beside the score. The tier ladder’s own minimum-layer rule needs several independent lenses to agree before the top tiers open, so a fund with few active lenses cannot reach them however strong it looks. That is the methodology working, not a defect. Deciles are cut within the peer group, on read, over scored funds only; Leader is that group’s top decile.
