Every figure is relative to the S&P 500 in the form (1+r)/(1+rSPY) − 1, so +8.0% means the market beat the index by eight percent over that window, not that it rose eight percent. Membership comes from the fund’s own name; the fund shown is the most-traded one that is not geared, inverse or currency-hedged, on its 60-session median dollar volume. The score is that fund’s own composite, and the rank and decile are cut across every market carrying one on this session. Breadth is the share of a market’s SCORED funds at or above the breadth cut, so it separates one strong fund from a market that is working. Geared, inverse and below-floor funds are never scored, so they are counted in Funds but never in Breadth.
